Procurement OfficerA large manufacturing company is looking for an organised and energetic Procurement Officer with the following knowledge and experience:Duties & ResponsibilitiesProcess internal requisitions for local ordersPlacing and receipting of International ordersExpediting orders, following up with freight companies and suppliersSourcing of current and new productsPlan and co-ordinate the freight movement and custom clearance of cargoCosting of freight and stockManage communication between suppliers and production management teamBuild relationships with suppliers and negotiate best pricingAttend daily production meetings with feedback from suppliers or communicate any procurement issues or delaysDesired Experience & QualificationCertificate or Diploma in ProcurementStrong PC knowledge and experienceMust be able to work in a pressurised environmentGood analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesA detail and action-oriented individualKnowledge of Syspro an advantageExperience with import proceduresForecasting experiencePackage & RemunerationSalary: R12000 to R15000 Gross per monthBenefits: Medical aid contribution, provident fund benefit
