Buyer

The successful candidate will be responsible for the sourcing of raw materials.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
•Gather data and prepare negotiations in terms of content and organizational aspects;
•Research suppliers and raw materials;
•Compare prices and assisting in the maintenance of price tools in consultation with the (lead) buyers;
•Send out contracts, check order confirmations and informing the lead buyer responsible of the changes, if necessary;
•Prepare, create, maintain and track contracts in SAP;
•Create and maintain supplier and material master data;
•Carry out efficient and effective sample management;
•Carry out administrative processing procedures for complaints, in consultation with the (lead) buyers;
•Responsible for procurement of raw material/packaging;
•Generate Purchase Orders, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery;
•To expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems;
•Coordination with Planning team for material planning & accurate projection;
•Coordination with accounts for Payments to Vendors;
•Fully leverage existing procurement strategies, contracts and relationships;
•Build strategic relationships with key suppliers;
