Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree, NQF level 7 in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related fieldMBA qualification, advantageous8 Years' relevant working experience in a manufacturing or related industryGood understanding of CI methodology, tools and techniques, e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen & TOCProficient on MS Office SuiteResponsibilitiesLead, guide, facilitate and manage all continuous improvement activities in the organizationAlign the business unit strategy to the overall group strategyIdentify and initiate cost-reduction projects across all spheres of operationAnalyze current processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and productivityDesign and optimize factory layouts to enhance workflow and space utilizationDevelop and implement cost-saving initiatives within transport and distribution functionsConduct thorough assessments of manufacturing processes and recommend enhancementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of improvement projectsMonitor and report on the progress and results of implemented initiativesStay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in manufacturing and logisticsDocument policies and proceduresImplement best practices across all sitesProvide and advise on training to staff on Lean principlesTO APPLY:Only if you do meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
