Business Development Specialist JHB An international supplier specializing in advanced technology suites for the mining and geological industries provides state-of-the-art geological models and drill management systems that utilize high-precision GPS/GNSS navigation and wireless communication. The solutions provide real-time information about rock mass analysis, reducing delays and improving productivity across surface and underground mining, tunneling, geotechnical surveys, diamond drilling, and quarrying operations. Position Summary: As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support, to ensure clients benefit from high-tech solutions for accurate and efficient geological analysis and drill management. Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be working with drill rigs both above and below ground and will be responsible for managing diverse projects, engaging with clients, and providing hands-on technical expertise. This position offers a blend of technical, managerial, and business development responsibilities, with opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies in mining operations. Product Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of product suites, including geological models, drill management systems, GPS/GNSS navigation, and wireless communication solutions, to effectively communicate their benefits to clients. Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and business cases to secure new clients and close deals. Qualifications: Education: Related field. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with GPS/GNSS systems, wireless communication, and geological models/drill management technology is highly desirable. Salary package negotiable Salary: 40.000,00 ZAR Monthly
