An exciting and highly exclusive role of Business Development Specialist is available in Pretoria and Cape Town. This is for the Aerospace & Defence Industry.To become eligible for an interview, applicants will need to provide their Matric Certificate - must have at least 85% average on their NSC or IEB Certificate.Further than this, applicants will have to be Degree qualified in either of the following:BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronic & Robotics Engineering etc (not Civil or Chemical Engineering). Applicants completing their Degree end of 2024 are also welcome to apply for consideration for Jan 2025.BCom in Marketing, Industrial Relations etc. Applicants completing their Degree end of 2024 are also welcome to apply for consideration for Jan 2025.The ideal person would be someone who:Enjoys travelling and meeting new people and who is willing to travel internationally.Enjoys establishing and growing professional relationships with key individuals.Has a passion for leading developments in the Aerospace & Defence Industry.Has a great mind for problem-solving and thinking on their feet.Is able to go above and beyond normal office hours if needed.Takes pride in their appearance at all times.The Business Development Specialist will mainly be responsible for:Promoting the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.Preparing sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.Keeping record of sales, revenue, invoices, and travel itineraries.Providing trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.Conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs.Contacting potential clients to establish a network and arrange meetings (Foreign and domestic).Identifying new markets and improving sales.Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.Attending conferences, meetings, and industry-related events such as Expos, Seminars, Meet & Greets etc.
