Business Development: Mining And Material Handling

Job Purpose:
Responsible for developing and maintaining the mining business for BMG by identifying direct and contractual business opportunities. Building long term relationship with mining end-users and mining housing to increase BMG's chance of securing and closing sales opportunities
Roles & Responsibilities:

Active management of relationships with key mining houses at head office and end-user level.
Monitor customer engagement and relationship on CRM.
Grow the market share within the mining and materials handling environment at end-user level.
Working closely with internal support to manage the entire tender process – commercial/technical/final submission and negotiation.
Working closely with internal support to review pricing for competitiveness in the market.
Presenting the BMG basket offering with the focus on developing new business and getting BMG products specified at the end-user level.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum tertial education qualification in the engineering field.
Minimum ten years work experience of which five were at the end-user sales environment specifically mining or power generation.
Power transmission business experience with technical background.
Experience and knowledge of bulk material handling processes
