Hybrid Company Car.Business Development Manager – Retaining Walls / MasonryRoleAs an Area Sales Manager – Retaining Wall Systems, you will be responsible for:Sales Focus: Selling high-quality manufactured retaining wall and masonry systems.Client Engagement: Generating specifications and selling directly to major house builders Barratt Homes, Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey.Targeting: Tier 1 main contractors such as Morgan Sindall, BAM and Wates.New Business Development: Primarily focused on cultivating new business relationships, with access to ongoing and dormant accounts.Target Achievement: Aiming to achieve a £1m turnover in the first year.Order Values: Managing order values ranging from £5k to £500k.Secondary Market: Engaging with groundwork contractors for additional sales opportunities.Area to be Covered: North East / North West / Yorkshire – (M62 Corridor)Ideal Candidate ProfileMy client is looking for a dynamic and energetic individual who meets the following criteria:Experience: Proven experience in selling to house builders or contractors like Barratt Homes, Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey, Morgan Sindall, and Wates.Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the specification route to market is a plus.Versatility: Experience in selling to both house builders and groundwork contractors is highly desirable.Industry Background: Preferably from a heavy building product background, dealing with products such as retaining wall systems, concrete blocks, hard landscaping, block paving, and architectural masonry.Role Flexibility: Open to candidates from house builders or those with on-site experience dealing with quantity surveyors, groundworkers, and contractors.Personal Attributes: A self-starter with high energy and a proactive approach to sales.
