Hire Resolve is searching for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a dynamic team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will drive business growth and establish long-lasting relationships with clients, playing a crucial role in our clients expansion efforts within the local market. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify opportunities within the region, focusing on emerging trends and underserved segments. Develop a detailed sales plan outlining strategies for prospect identification, nurturing leads, and managing client relationships effectively. Underwrite and accept risks within delegated authority, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and achieving effective business implementation. Establish clear sales targets for GWP and profitability, with a focus on both growth and retention strategies for Sales. Track productivity levels through regular performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize results. Collaborate with brokers to assess their business needs, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service and support. Analyze broker business plans to identify strategic opportunities for future growth and collaboration. Enhance the Broker panel by fostering strong relationships and utilizing persuasive techniques to achieve business development growth targets. Ensure compliance with technical and operational underwriting standards and procedures, maintaining high-quality service delivery. Implement and monitor underwriting measures to achieve targeted loss ratios and optimal rates, adapting strategies as needed. Adhere to the Regional Teams Sales plan, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and performance metrics. Maintain accountability for business outcomes, ensuring adherence to governance and risk management standards as per expectations and guidelines Requirements: Diploma in Sales and or Finance 5 years in Short term Insurance industry Sales experience with Management experience included Contact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing move Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
