With an extensive portfolio of high-performance pigments, they are committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance product performance for their customers.Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead new client acquisition efforts and foster long-term, solution-focused relationships with key industry stakeholders.
This newly created role is crucial to driving the company's growth strategy by targeting potential markets and establishing a strong client base across various industries that rely on pigment solutions, such as manufacturing, automotive, plastics, and coatings.Key Responsibilities:New Business Development: Proactively identify, engage, and secure new clients across target industries to expand the company's market presence in Sub-Saharan Africa.Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their unique needs, challenges, and business objectives, and delivering tailored pigment solutions.Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies aimed at increasing revenue and market share.
Track sales performance against targets and adjust strategies accordingly.Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, emerging markets, and customer needs within the pigment sector.Technical Expertise: Collaborate with the product development team to ensure a thorough understanding of the company's pigment solutions and their applicability to client industries.Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with prospective clients to secure profitable contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer satisfaction.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product development, and customer service) to ensure client needs are met with a high level of service and product quality.Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field.Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the pigment, chemical, or manufacturing industries.Strong knowledge of pigment applications and solutions, or the ability to quickly learn technical product details.Demonstrated success in developing new business and achieving sales targets.Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to work independently and travel across Sub-Saharan Africa as needed.What We Offer:Competitive OTE package and performance-based incentives.Opportunity to lead and shape the sales strategy for a growing business.A supportive and dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
