Estimator (Part-Time)

Estimator (Part-time) Flexible hours - some US hours required One of our US based clients that provides flooring for new construction are seeking an Estimator to join their construction team on a part-time project basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of flooring materials (hardware, ceramic, vinyl, and hardwood) and be proficient in estimating projects, including calculating square footage and determining material requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Project Estimation: Accurately estimate flooring projects, including calculating square footage and determining material requirements.
Material Selection: Select appropriate flooring materials based on project specifications and client preferences.
Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of flooring installation techniques, including transitions and corner details.
Qualifications: Proven experience in flooring estimation.
Strong knowledge of flooring materials (hardware, ceramic, vinyl, and hardwood).
Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural plans and specifications.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently.
