Business Developer

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Business Developer to join their teamThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, with a particular focus on the legal industryThis role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the strategic growth of the firmThe Business Developer will work closely with our attorneys and marketing team to expand our client base and enhance our market presenceMinimum requirements: Qualification in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related fieldProven experience in business development, preferably within a law firm or professional services environmentStrong understanding of the legal industry and its marketExceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to think strategically and execute tacticallyProficiency in using CRM software and other business development toolsSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a teamDevelop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and profitabilityIdentify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients, partnerships, and marketsBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutionsCollaborate with attorneys and the marketing team to create and execute client development plansConduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needsPrepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clientsMonitor and report on business development activities and results, providing insights and recommendations for improvementRepresent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility and build professional connectionsWork with the Marketing department to ensure digital marketing initiativeAssist and develop tender documents and panel applicationsGeneral marketing dutiesConsultant: Stephnie Taljaard - Dante Personnel Cape Town
