Business Controller

Our client is seeking a skilled Business Controller to contribute to their dynamic team and drive financial excellence within their growing company. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting and a passion for sports and outdoor activities. As a key member of the finance team, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial planning. Duties: Oversee and manage the full accounting function, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies in all financial transactions. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: BCom Accounting Degree. SAICA or SAIPA articles required. Experience: A minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar role. Interest within the sporting industry is a preference.
