Are you someone who can:
Have a fair understanding of the entity relationships within a database and how various systems integrate with each other in an environment.
Utilize Use Case skills.
Compile process and data flow diagrams and Context diagrams.
Provide creative solutions to business requirements.
Think analytically with strong problem-solving skills.
Define user journeys.
Research and define solutions best fit for the industry, customer, and aligned to group strategic objectives.
Run with analysis and present findings to the business.
Defend requirements and explain thinking.
Understand how the requirements achieve business objectives tied to return on investment.
Work independently and meet strict timelines.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
Have a minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant Business Analyst experience.
Hold a Bcom or Industry Related Degree.
Are familiar with Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
Possess the following Business Analysis Competencies:
Presentation Skills

Self-starter – looks for opportunities

Some leadership skills
Good writing skills
Conflict management skills

Act as an interface between business, developers, and testers.
Be empathetic yet diplomatic when dealing with concerns and conflict from the business or team members.
Listen, advise, and escalate issues when necessary.
Conduct business analyses, including planning, eliciting, documenting, and reviewing.
Analyze projects using best practices.
Facilitate workshops or hold JAD sessions to gather requirements and drive discussions.
Make decisions, think on your feet, and be proactive.
Provide solutions or recommendations when requirements are unclear, considering what would be best for the business.
Prepare functional requirements specifications.
Prepare business solutions specifications.
Conduct enterprise analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and assumptions.
Perform stakeholder analyses to understand and identify the audience upfront.
Assess, analyze, and optimize end-to-end business processes, documenting requirements through research, interviews, or facilitation sessions.
Document all business rules impacting a project.
Probe and gather information effectively.
Create relevant analysis documentation, including Business and Functional Specifications, using change control processes and version controls when required.
Manage your own time to prioritize multiple projects.
Provide feedback and guidance to more junior team members.
Review test cases provided by the Test Analyst.
Manage all Project Analysis Documentation and ensure all sign-offs are achieved prior to project initiation.
Add business value.
Take accountability for own projects through to implementation, being actively involved from start to end of the project lifecycle.
Run initiatives as the BA and PM where applicable and necessary.
