Business Analyst

Job ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain strategic partnerships with business needs and technology delivery.Develop business requirements and rules based on business needs.Work closely with IT in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functional requirements.Identify requirements via data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition analysis.Solicit requirements through interviews, workshops, existing systems documentation, or procedures.Understand business issues and data challenges.Prepare, review, and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendation solutions.Provide functional and system design specifications.Maintain a good understanding of databases, MSSQL, and SDLC.Desired Experience & QualificationDegree / Diploma: IT or equivalent.4+ years of BA experience.2+ years of MSSQL experience.Developer/Database Administrator experience (advantageous).Able to work to strict deadlines and under pressure.Knowledge of IT practices related to business application development and implementation.Process-driven analysis skills.Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.Excellent problem-solving skills.General - office-based, 08:00 – 16:30, willing to travel to client sites when required.Interested?By applying for this position, you consent in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI Act) to your personal information being obtained, utilized, and stored by the Company through inter alia, reference checks, credit checks, and trace reports.Should you not hear from us within 7 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
