You will serve as the driving force behind their growth, steering data-driven decisions that propel their success. Your role involves translating player insights and market trends into actionable plans, ensuring that projects are aligned with strategic objectives and yield impactful results.Your key job responsibilities as the Business Analyst in Johannesburg will include:Elicit, analyze, and document various requirements, including user stories, use cases, business, user, and functional/non-functional transition requirements.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements and act as a liaison between business and IT stakeholders.Effectively manage burndown while incorporating new features.Identify and assess project risks, agree on project approaches with stakeholders, and develop realistic plans, including quality, risk, and communication plans.Assist in the analysis of stakeholder objectives, conducting investigations into business requirements and problems, and proposing potential benefits and options.Produce specific business cases, scenarios, and document system acceptance criteria.Define routine, integrated processes and documents using basic formal process charting techniques.Conduct test coverage analysis, prioritize risks, analyze defect trends, and identify risks associated with project issues.Prepare project scope and provide input into test strategy and approach.Requirements for this Business Analyst job in Johannesburg:5+ years of experience in a similar role.Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or relevant Business field preferred or equivalent combination of education/experience.Agile Business Analyst certifications preferred.Experience in iGaming industry extremely advantageous.Experience with/exposure to Devops essential.Requirements gathering, communication, analysis, documentation, and implementation.Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) for user stories.Proficient in DevOps, Confluence, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Experience with Agile concepts, process methodologies, and iterative development processes.Working knowledge of ERP business processes.Skilled in writing user stories.Strong process and data modeling skills.Facilitate documentation with Development, Infrastructure, BI Teams, and Product/Business owners.Experience with testing tools like Selenium.Ability to address and resolve issues with excellent customer service skills.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of business analysis methodologies and emerging technologies.Good understanding of applications/technology, tools, and frameworks.Familiar with the business analysis lifecycle, requirements elicitation, structured analysis, stakeholder management, and use case definition.Proven ability to analyze data, present to clients, and challenge hypotheses with robust data.Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, reasoning, and assessment skills.If you meet the above requirements for this Business Analyst job in Johannesburg, we would like to hear from you.
