DescriptionThe role will involve project and business as usual deliverables primarily focused on the Product Optimization and Development (POD) Transactional Banking Online web and Mobile applications.It will encompass the resolution of user issues and requests as well as maintenance and support of systems and related interfaces.
• Independent and original thinking will be required while solving complex issues, particularly as multiple systems, clients, and technologies are involved.
• High level business case and solution design (including the Functional requirements Specification) for business-driven requirements within given standards• Deliver cost-effective, user friendly, innovative solutions (business process re-engineering, systems, and technology)• Participate in the full SDLC depending on the scope of the initiative including post implementation activities.
This includes the formulation of appropriate documents to present at the various forums and checkpoints• Ensure that processes, business rules (including decision point trees and rules definitions), data requirements (including Business Data Dictionary and reference List), project administration etc.
are accurately and completely documented in line with the delivery strategy• Ensure that the solutions meet the changing business requirements in terms of functionality, capacity and reliability• Ensure that all projects are delivered meeting business requirements, can be measured through a sound business case, and adhere to agreed application and integration architecture principlesIn addition to the above:• Foster stakeholder communication.• Drive Agile/Kanban/DevOps practices within the team.• Facilitation of prioritization for projects/SMI's with stakeholders• Backlog management and prioritization• Governance adherence for projects/SMI's• Facilitation of team ceremonies: stand ups, retrospectives, and demos for the development team.• Reporting - Compile project dashboards, delivery stats • Mange capacity and work allocation across the project teams in the mobile space• Continuously evaluating operational processes for improvement with the team (stakeholder communication/ prioritisation/communication/team efficiencies)• Mentorship - assist with upskilling Jnr team members.
• Coaching the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality• Assist with 3rd party vendor relationships• Assist with monthly allocations for projects and team capacity planning.
