Role OverviewThe Business Analyst will collaborate closely with the Process Industrial Engineer to design and implement efficient systems and processes, identify business opportunities, and drive financial performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis and Reporting Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.Analyse financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Develop financial models to support business decision-making.Collaboration and Process Improvement Work closely with the Process Industrial Engineer to design and implement efficient systems and processes.Identify and evaluate business opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, streamline processes, and enhance productivity.Provide financial insights and recommendations to support process improvement initiatives.Data Management and Analysis Collect, analyse, and interpret complex data sets to identify key financial and operational metrics.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.Utilise advanced data analytics tools and techniques to drive insights and recommendations.Strategic Planning and Support Assist in the development and execution of strategic business plans.Assist in the provision of financial input for business case development and investment proposals.Support the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans.Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in financial analysis and process improvement.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or in a related field.A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is an added advantage.ExperienceA minimum of 5 years experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a related role.Two years experience in process improvement.A proven track record of driving financial performance and operational efficiency.Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial analysis software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau).Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an added advantage.Intermediate knowledge of IT-related processes is an added advantage.Core Competencies for SuccessAnalytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems, interpret complex data accurately, and provide actionable insights.Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial principles, models, and reporting.
