ResponsibilitiesIn-depth understanding of marketing strategies and branding principles.Excellent communication and writing skills.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Conducting market research.Analysing data for trends, insights, and information.Advising internal teams on branding strategy.Communicating with marketing team to ensure brand alignment.Business savvy.Ability to multitask.Strong research and analytical skills.Comfort with CRM software.Essential knowledge of consumer behaviour, marketing analytics, branding, content creation.Analytical Mind-Set: Need to have a knack for analysing data as it helps gauge the competition, identify opportunities, and understand consumer behaviour.Developing custom marketing and advertising strategies.Building relationships with influencers, journalists and media owners where not already in place and necessary.Conducting meetings with service providers and franchisees.Basic knowledge of budgets and allocation of line items.Team player and working collectively to meet brand objectives as well as engaging with other departments.Willing to work over weekends if necessary for activations and brand presence.Min of 5-7 years in a brand manager position in the Retail or QSR sector.Own transport and valid driver's license.Desired Experience & Qualification5-7 years in a brand manager position in retail or QSR.Tertiary Marketing education.Package & RemunerationUp to R45 000 depending on experience and qualifications.
