Branch Administrator

A client of ours within the Manufacturing sectors is looking for a Branch Administrator to become part of their stable team.
The branch administrator is responsible for providing administrative services to ensure the effective and efficient branch operations.
Key Performance Areas: Overseeing and controlling workflows to ensure adherence to policy and procedure, quality standards and deadlines Monitoring staff attendance & timekeeping and related leave forms.
Liaising with branch manager in connection with monthly salary input data and forwarding to Head Office timeously Maintain records of casuals and oversee payment of wages Assist management with staff leave planning Maintain a team working environment in which disciplines and efficiencies are maintained Maintain a safe and healthy environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures within legal regulations Maintain monthly Safety Officer check lists Arrange bi-annual ISO management meetings & report to Head Office Assist with updating branch objectives and report to Head Office Logging of Non-Conformance reports and forwarding to Head Office Attending to IOD's Maintain Fleet & Equipment management controls, records and licensing & certifications, and oversee general maintenance as needed Assist with management of traffic fines Assist with monthly Nedfleet reports Assisting with compiling of documents for insurance claims Oversee the branch reception & switchboard, ensuring duties are professionally performed Providing customer assistance when required Ensure branch invoice and credit note registers are maintained Ensure credit notes are authorised and processed timeously according to company procedures Maintain branch documentation and records Maintain good housekeeping practises and manage site waste Reconciling branch GIT reports Execute operational projects as directed Ensuring the security of the warehouse and its contents, assessing both internal and external threats Knowledge and Skills Requirement: A thorough knowledge of commercial office routines and requirements Computer literacy Knowledge and practical application of IT systems Good numerical skills Skilled in written and verbal communication A high degree of integrity, mental alertness and organisational ability Skilled in problem solving and abstract reasoning ISO certification Minimum 5 year's experience in office administration and ISO standards
