Branch Accountant

Branch Accountant required in Brits North-West.
We are looking for an experienced Branch Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in the Motor Industry and have worked within a group of companies.
Requirements:

Qualification in Accounting/Bookkeeping
Minimum of 5 – 8 years' experience required as an Accountant
Computer literate; MS Excel and Evolve experience required / will be advantageous
Must have a strong personality
A stable work record and contactable references
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Able to work under extreme pressure
Very deadline-driven orientation

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the trial balance, income statement & balance sheet
Reconciling balance sheet accounts
Preparation and reporting on monthly management accounts to management
Performing day end, month end and year-end processes
Expense provisions management
Loading payments
Reviewing allocated Creditors teams and managing Clerks
Cashbook management
Petty cash management
Ensuring internal controls at branches are in accordance with Company standards and relevant legislation
Reviewing, designing, documenting, and implementing systems of internal control
Communication and training of internal controls to relevant staff
Regular internal audits at branches
Fixed Assets management
Updating and reconciling fixed asset registers
Ensuring depreciation is processed monthly
Installment Sales Agreements management
Allocation of interest paid and deferred interest
Balancing of ISA control account to monthly statements
Yearly asset verification
Processing of year-end journals
Budgeting
Liaising with management on preparation of the annual budget
Capturing of budgets
