Bosch Projects – Structural Draughtsperson Associate/Consultant – (Kzn)

Bosch Projects, a member of the multi-disciplinary Bosch Holdings group of companies, founded in 1961, has an opportunity for a Structural Draughtsperson to work on an Associate / Consultant basis providing consulting services to the Company. This position will be based at the Durban office and will report directly to the Sugar and Industrial Divisional Manager.

Key Responsibilities Liaising with the project team to obtain clear requirements; Participation in draughting activities and interdisciplinary interfaces within the projects undertaken by Bosch Projects; Accurately specifying dimensions, materials and procedures; Continuously looking for and suggesting ways to improve layouts and designs; Meeting critical project deadlines; Ensuring compliance with the Bosch ISO 9001/2015 QMS, in terms of the specific responsibilities in order to fully comply with internal and external audits. Key Requirements A tertiary education (Structural Engineering or Draughting qualification) is preferable; The ability to do structural layouts, steel work and reinforcement (rebar) detailing; Proficiency on the Revit suite/platform is preferred; A detailed understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering activities; Must have the ability to work independently and be self-driven with a capacity for continuous self-improvement; An ability to multitask.
