Bookkeeper With Buildsmart Experience

Education Requirements- Minimum of a Matriculation / Grade 12 Certificate- Formal Course in Pastel/Payroll or similar- Formal Training in BuildSmartGeneral Description of PositionThis position is responsible for assisting the Financial Manager by maintaining financial records.The responsibilities of this position also include, inter alia:- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation- Cash Book / Bank Reconciliation (to Trial Balance)- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements- Overseeing client accounts- Creating, sending and following up on invoices- Updating financial records- Collecting and reviewing data for reports- Reporting discrepanciesExperience required:- 3 to 5 years' Bookkeeping experience in a similar environment- In-depth knowledge of financial management and taxation guidelines- Ability to build relationships while asking tough questions- Excellent written and oral communication ability, English and Afrikaans- Strong time management and organizational skills- Demonstrated ability with Buildsmart- Advance Computer literacy Microsoft Outlook (PowerPoint / Excel / Word / Email)- Prior experience in a Bookkeeping role in Construction or similar- Experience in working with a diverse range of people and positions
