Bookkeeper

Amanzimtoti. Salary R18k - no benefits. Office bound. Mon – Fri 08:00 – 17:00. Our client is a leading company in the FMCG industry with a long history of being the best. They are looking for an experienced bookkeeper who will report to the Lead Bookkeeper.Key Responsibilities:Full Function Debtors and Creditors Management: Handle all aspects of debtors and creditors, including invoicing, payments, and follow-up on outstanding balances.Cashbook Management: Accurately manage cashbook entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled to trial balance.Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and other reports up to the trial balance stage.Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations for accounts, including bank and supplier statements, to ensure accurate balances and timely issue resolution.Transaction Processing: Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other transactions in alignment with company policies.General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate records within the general ledger, making adjustments and corrections as necessary.Immediate PrioritiesManage debtors and creditors comprehensively to maintain smooth cash flow.Take ownership of cashbook processing and perform timely reconciliations.Provide immediate support to the Lead Bookkeeper to relieve workload pressure, ensuring continuity in financial operations.Please submit your CV and kindly let me know what you are/were earning please?
