Bookkeeper

A leading and well-known manufacturing concern based in Kuils River has an opportunity available for an experienced individual that specializes in Bookkeeping to join their team of skilled professionals. You will fulfill the role of Bookkeeper within this expert team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 – 4 years' experience.Responsibilities:Bookkeeping up to balance sheet (Cashbook processing and journals)Bank reconciliationsGL recons for all balance sheet accountsManaging logbooks for company fleet/vehiclesMonthly VAT201 and EMP201 reconciliation and submissionYear-end closure and assistance in preparing the annual audit filesCreditor's function, including monthly credit runCapturing of purchase ordersAll other financial and administrative duties related to this positionQualifications:Matric/Grade 12 CertificateDiploma / Certificate (Accounting / Bookkeeping)3 - 4 Years bookkeeping experienceWorking knowledge of: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) & SysproSkills:Good communication skills and able to work well with a diverse team (Afrikaans & English)Deadline orientated and work well under pressureAttention to detailExcellent time management skillsPositive and assertive attitudeA good team playerAbility to work both independently and in a teamMust be someone who is bubbly, humorous and pleasantIf you are interested in this opportunity, apply with your most recent resume & supporting documents or give us a call.Please note should you not receive a response from us within 7 working days; kindly consider your application unsuccessful.
