Bookkeeper

A vacancy currently exists for an enthusiastic Bookkeeper at the Company Head Office, based in Mount Edgecombe The key responsibility areas for this position are: - Unidentified debtors and creditors payment on bank statement liaise with bank. Preparation of daily cash flow. Download daily bank statements for the debtors department and cash sales clerks. Preparation of debit and credit card sales. Ensure the daily receipt and payments are updated in the cash book and discrepancies are rectified and manually updated. Reconciliation of cash sales. Maintaining of fixed asset register on SYSPRO Applicants should have the following credentials: - Grade 12 and preferably a tertiary qualification in Accounting/Bookkeeping. Computer literate knowledge of the Syspro system would be an added advantage. Be conscientious and diligent. Have more than 3 years experience in administration. Must have demonstrable experience in working with a cash book. Good communication skills (Verbal and written). Basic accounting skills. Salary benefits (pension, 13th and 14th cheque)
