General Description / Job Purpose:Manage the procurement process for several SPV project companies to capture monthly expenses within set deadlines. Role includes contract cataloguing / maintaining contract dataroom on several SPVs for projects to capture monthly expenses for all companies within set deadlines given.Responsibilities:Manage the procurement process by:Assist in procuring required supplier questionnaires and BBBEE certificatesCreate purchase orders and purchase invoices in accounting systemCreate the payment proposalsBi-monthly draw of proof of payments and distribution to the related managerVerify that transactions are recorded in the correct general ledger account, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledgerPerform partial checks of the posting processEnter data, maintain records and launch reports and financial statementsAssist the Accountant to generate and maintain data room for each projectLiaise with suppliers and customers for relationship managementSubmission of completed documents to Accountant for reviewWork closely with the rest of the Asset Management Team helping in preparing documentation for stakeholdersAssistance on audits as requiredMinimum Educational Qualifications:Related Bachelor's Degree; preferred;Minimum Previous Experience:Proven bookkeeping experienceSolid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordsData entry skills along with a knack for numbersHands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary softwareHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailSouth African citizen is preferred.Other Skills:Good communication skills;Problem solving skills;Decision-making ability;Commercial awareness;Ability to motivate others;Team working skills.Languages:English (Read, write & speak)
