What you will be doing: Oversee accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger.
Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accurate and complete financial data.
Gather timely and precise information, as well as keeping informed on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Offer financial insights and assistance in order to contribute to business growth and profitability.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management.
Provide support to the Finance Accountant and Management as needed.
What you need: 2+ years experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting or similar field is preferred.
Experience with Xero accounting software would be beneficial.
Hospitality related experience would be an advantage, ideally in the short-term rentals space.
Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Must be highly organised, able to manage tasks independently, hardworking, efficient, and deadline-oriented with strong attention to detail.
Excellent reporting skills and be skilled in Microsoft 365 and Google Suite.
