Bookkeeper (Constantia area)Closing Date : 2024-10-28Closed : YesDescription:Our client, a wine farm situated in the Constantia area, has a position available for a driven and tech-savvy Bookkeeper to join their team.The ideal candidate is a team player with the ability to multitask and apply a detail-focused approach to work.The successful candidate will be responsible for the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance for 3 entities. Duties will include (but not be limited to):Accounting function:InvoicingImporting petty cash CSV file and reconciling expensesImporting bank statements and reconciling bank accountsReconciling creditors accounts and emailing statementsSending debtors statements and following up on collectionsProcessing manual journalsAllocating Snapscan / Yoco / DineplanEMP201 and VAT journals.General bookkeeping and admin Tasks:Payroll (processing weekly wages and monthly salaries)Relevant HR tasksFiling and archivingBusiness payments (loading business creditor payments via various banking platforms)Completing credit applications for new suppliersImplementing and maintaining a dashboardReporting on the monthly profitability of the Tasting RoomCost and costing managementReporting on revenues and costsAll ad hoc financial and other admin functions related to the position.Essential qualifications, skills and experience:Matric required, a tertiary qualification in accounting/finance will be advantageous;Approximately 3-5 years' experience in a similar role required, including experience with debtors, creditors and stock control;Experience in the wine industry will be advantageous;Good communication skills (English);Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office, Xero);Own reliable transport.Please apply online at www.m3online.co.za before 09:00 on 28 October 2024.For general enquiries, contact our team at M3 Human Capital Management on 021 863 1444.Please note that only shortlisted candidates are contacted.
