Duties: Full accounting function up to Trial Balance;Debtors and Creditors reconciliation;Upload of payments to Bank;Cash book management and review;Payroll calculations and processing;Reconciliation of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis;Statutory returns (EMP501/EMP201/VAT201) (preparation and submission);Rental calculations and monthly tenant billing;Interaction with managers at branch level.Competencies: Computer Literate MS Office (Excel (intermediate))Accounting Packages (Pastel Accounting and Payroll)SARS e-filing experienceShould be able to work independently and in a team environmentResponsible (organise/analyse/prioritise)Prides themselves on a strong work ethicNot a clock watcher and deadline drivenPerform under pressureAccurate and meticulousResilientMinimum requirements: Relevant tertiary education in accounting (a suitable degree/diploma)Solid verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans2 years working experienceValid driver's licence and own transportMust reside in the Northern SuburbsIf you are interested, please forward your CV and qualification(s) to ****** marked for Nancy's attention or you can apply below.
