Position: Bookkeeper Accountant Location: Cape Town Working Scenario: Onsite Employment Type: Fulltime About the role: An exciting opportunity available at a medium-sized audit/accounting firm in Durbanville for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join their Accounting and Taxation Department.
The candidate will support the bookkeeping and workflow processes within the accounting department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial management.
Responsibilities: • Process and reconcile annual transactions from source documents.
• Calculate and submit VAT returns.
• Work with budgetary constraints to meet monthly targets.
• Liaise with clients, supervisors, and partners to fulfil expectations and requirements.
Minimum Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
• Experience with Pastel is required; knowledge of other bookkeeping applications is a plus.
• Experience in bookkeeping up to trial balance.
• Bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in e-filing.
• Own transport.
• Positive energy and willingness to learn and Work hard.
Remuneration: R25000 – R35000
