We focus on delivering top-quality learning materials, including the highly-regarded Singapore Maths series, to help build strong thinking skills in mathematics.We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Book Marketer, Singapore Maths Trainer, and Book Distribution Business Manager.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting Singapore Maths, training educators, and overseeing the distribution of our educational materials.Key ResponsibilitiesBook Marketing: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote Singapore Maths and other alternative textbooks to homeschoolers, private schools, and Cambridge schools.Digital MarketingTrainer: Deliver workshops and training sessions to teachers, enabling them to effectively use Singapore Maths in the classroom to build thinking and problem-solving skills in mathematics.Business Management: Oversee the distribution of educational resources, manage inventory, and maintain strong relationships with schools, homeschool communities, and other stakeholders.Client Engagement: Work closely with schools and homeschool communities to understand their educational needs and provide tailored solutions.Sales and Outreach: Drive sales through creative outreach campaigns, online marketing, and building partnerships with educators and institutions.Content Creation: Assist in creating content for brochures, online platforms, and other marketing materials to showcase the benefits of Singapore Maths and alternative learning resources.Key RequirementsProven experience in book marketing, preferably within the educational or publishing sector.Deep understanding of Singapore Maths and its pedagogical approach to building thinking skills in mathematics.Experience in teacher training and conducting educational workshops.Strong business acumen with experience in managing distribution channels and inventory.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both educators and parents.Passionate about education and committed to improving student outcomes.Self-driven, organised, and able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing educational business.Be part of a team dedicated to transforming mathematics education in South Africa and beyond.Application Question(s):Did you achieve at least 60% for Pure Maths in Matric?Did you pass English Home Language for matric?Education:High School (matric) (Preferred)Experience:Managing a business: 1 year (Required)Marketing: 1 year (Required)Singapore Maths or Thinking Maths Skills: 1 year (Required)
