Engineering & modeling work is picking up both domestically and globally and we have a good firm
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop BIM families and efficiently engineer and model design using technical and 3D/BIM modeling skills;
Engineering designs in project teams under the guidance of the Lead Engineer.
Develop diagrams of the services installations and coordinate with other disciplines for the initial space reservations;
Modelling the services installations in 3D Revit/BIM based on diagrams and coordinated space reservations;
Implementing knowledge based on functionality, mountability, accessibility and maintainability into the model to ensure that the contractor can build it according to our model without revising it;
Work within a multidisciplinary team across borders;
In addition to participating in projects, contribute to the optimization of internal business processes and to safeguarding and sharing knowledge within the field;
Regular contact and communication with the Project Engineers;
Coordinate with other building services;
Ensure that work is done in accordance with acceptable standards of both Royal HaskoningDHV and its Clients;
Maintain project records in accordance with internal quality
Qualifications,Skills and Experience
Minimum of 2 – 10+ years relevant experience, preferably within the consulting engineering built Junior / Mid-level / Senior candidates required.
BIM and Revit experience is a non-negotiable and will be assessed. Certificates are beneficial
Knowledge of Dynamo, Python, and other ways to automate your work are highly beneficial
Experience with Common Data Environments and other relevant platforms
Sound Mechanical / HVAC / Plumbing / Electrical / Electronics / Fire engineering (or any combination of these building services) knowledge and experience is required.
Experience with building type projects is required and exposure to industrial or data center projects is beneficial.
Appropriate knowledge of local and international standards and codes.
Be able to work within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
