Bim Manager

Were recruiting for a BIM Manager on behalf of our client, responsible for overseeing BIM implementation within key projects. This role demands a technical leader who can manage and coordinate BIM teams, ensuring smooth integration across platforms, meticulous data management, and the execution of cutting-edge BIM processes. From enhancing project performance to fostering collaboration among stakeholders, this role is integral to driving innovation within the market. Key Responsibilities: Lead BIM teams, assess team capabilities, and provide project-specific support Oversee data integration between BIM models and databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency Develop information management strategies, manage common data environments (CDEs), and support cloud collaboration platforms Conduct audits and quality checks to maintain high project standards Collaborate with IT, clients, and stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure successful BIM execution Skills & Qualifications: Minimum N3 in engineering or MDDOP qualification; BTech/BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or Civil preferred Proven experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks; certifications advantageous Knowledge of SANS19650 (ISO19650) and strong background in information management EE Disclaimer: All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
