The Business Development (BD), Marketing & Communications Department is looking for another talented professional to complement their team, in the form of a Bid Administrator. The suitable candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the submission of bids, including tasks such as gathering documentation, ensuring compliance, tracking status, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Core Purpose
Coordinating and managing the submission of bids, including tasks such as gathering documentation, ensuring compliance, tracking status, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Performance Areas
Understanding of government bids requirements and bid process.
Excellent business communication skills both written and verbal (English).
Detail orientated.
Coordinate the end-to-end bid process, from identifying opportunities to submitting proposals.
Source bids from multiple sites.
Assist the bid team in organising and compiling bid documents.
Maintain all portals with up-to-date company information/documents
Organise and arrange meetings
Ensure compliance with bid requirements and deadlines.
Manage, review, and update bid content (bid tracker, CVs, project sheets, qualifications, professional registrations, methodologies, etc.).
Liaise with subject matter experts to gather necessary information for bid submissions
Writing and editing skills
Computer literacy (MS Office) and any other appropriate software that may be introduced.
Excellent time management and multi-task skills.
Self-sufficient (work with minimal supervision and direction)
Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Provide general administrative support in a timely manner

Qualifications
Grade 12
Any relevant Administration qualification
APMP certificate will be an added advantage.
Experience
Min 2-year experience in a bid administrative role.
