The successful individual will be placed in Gezina (Pretoria).MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:Analyse and coordinate daily department activities to achieve established goals.Maintain department calendar and ensure to meet deadlines.Prepare meeting agenda, schedule department meetings and distribute minutes.Coordinate and organize department related special events.Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.Maintain all department information confidential and secure.Respond to work requests from department staff in timely and accurate manner.Assist Manager in preparing and maintaining meeting materials, business presentations and other department files.Adhere to company policies and regulations.Provide general administrative and clerical support.Perform data collection, analysis and reporting to Manager for decision making purposes.Draft letters, correspondence, memos, charts, documents, tables, graphs, and plans as requested.Maintain positive working relationships with department staffs and customers.Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAnalysing, Coordinating and Maintaining the Department: Analyse and coordinate daily department activities to achieve established goals.Deadline adherence: Attending to new development requests, change development requests, ad hoc development requests, general requests and report inquiries within the communicated timelines.Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Ad hoc Reporting: Ensure that daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports are generated within the communicated timelines.Accuracy and attention to detail: The ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when executing duties.Customer Service: Providing timely and attentive service to the business and ensuring that their needs are met in a manner that reflects positively on the department.Learning and Development: The employee continuously develops themselves and strives to improve.Time and Attendance: As per company policies and procedures.Specific Requirements/Other important information:Analytical and critical thinking, using data to inform decisions.Strong problem-solving skills.Logical individual motivated by building practical and sustainable solutions.Strong prioritization skills.Solutions-oriented, can-do attitude, self-motivated.Ability to manage complex organizational interfaces.Strong aptitude to learn new systems.Understanding business processes, how the application supports the business processes and apply this knowledge to best solve problems.QUALIFICATIONS:Diploma / Degree in Office or Business Administration or a related field.EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 1-2 years QlikView/Power BI development experience.Strong administration and organisational skills & experience.Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.COMPETENCIES:Excellent oral and written communication skills.Elevated level of self-initiative and self-direction.Strong critical thinking skills and ability to oversee multiple projects.Ability to collaborate with various people on differing tasks or issues while maintaining a courteous, helpful, and professional demeanour.Provide exceptional customer service with people internally and external to the company.Flexible and adapts to change.Ability to multi-task with multiple departments and activities of others.Comfortable working independently, with experience working in a team environment.Physical ability to use computer hardware and software required.
