Beverage Production Manager

Candidate Requirements:A Degree in Food Science, or Diploma in Food TechnologyShould have at least five years relevant experience in food manufacturing (FMCG) or production managementHACCP knowledge will be advantageous.Must have knowledge of fresh produce Previous bottling or fruit packaging experience will be advantageousMust have excellent communication skills (Afrikaans and English)Should have excellent people- and process-management skillsMust have strong analytical and technical skillsShould have the ability to delegate tasks Must be self-motivated, innovative and be able to work under pressureResponsibilities:Plan and organise production schedules and forecastsAssist with purchasing planning of raw fruit and vegetablesManage production teamsMonitor production quality and outputAssist the Operation Manager with optimisation projects to improve and streamline processesOversee management of raw materialsMaintain and ensure food safety standardsEnsure that the company culture is upheld dailyManage and improve retention and absenteeism of production staffOrganise relevant training sessionsSupport the new product development (NPD) process by supporting and conducting trials and identifying optimal production methodsWork closely with and support the maintenance and technical teams
