About the Role
The Integration Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions that are crucial to the organisation's systems. By working closely with system architects, integration programmers, and key stakeholders, this role ensures seamless and efficient integration processes while contributing to the establishment of integration standards and best practices.

Competitive salary: R60,000 – R80,000 CTC per month.Over and above the salary, the package includes Medical Aid and a retirement fund.Be part of a forward-thinking organisation that values innovation and excellence.Support critical integration solutions in a dynamic and evolving environment.Join a team of experts committed to driving technological advancement.Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain integration messaging standards (e.g. HL7, FHIR) for the organisation and its subsidiaries.Establish integration standards, processes, and architecture recommendations.Conduct business, system, and technical analysis to ensure flexible and optimal integration designs.Participate in the requirement analysis, design, testing, and documentation of both existing and new integrations.Maintain an accurate and detailed register of web services/APIs and integration points.Support the operational management and maintenance of integration solutions.Requirements Degree or formal certification in ICT/Computer Science (essential).3-5 years' experience as an Integration Specialist or Analyst (essential).API Management (advantageous).Coding background.Data structures and data transfer mechanisms.Proficiency in creating, editing, and reading XML schema definitions (XML, JSON).HL7 or FHIR knowledge.Familiarity with Intersystems IRIS for Health.SQL querying skills.Understanding of service and API design requirements.Knowledge of integration protocols such as RESTful API, Web service, and Queuing.
