The successful incumbent will be responsible for preparing drinks, snacks or food for Punters/Customers. It is imperative that exceptional customer service and clean service areas are always maintained.
With Hollywoodbets You Will: Innovate and create as part of a like-minded, authentic Team eager to achieve goals.Embrace challenges and the thrill of working in a vibrant and fast-paced industry.Grow with our development plans and culture that allows you to further your career.A Bonus To Have: Experience in food and beverageExperience with the P.O.S systemExperience with stock managementExperience with the GAAP SystemWhat You'll Do For The Brand: Ensure uniforms are adhered to and in accordance with the dress code.Ensure that you look presentable to the Customers as you are the face of the company and need to present a professional image.Ensure the bar area is neat and tidy prior to opening and maintain cleanliness during service times.Prepare stock requisitions in advance, identifying fast-selling items and adjusting for busy periods.Ensure fridges are sufficiently stocked and maintain stock rotation.Ensure float is correct.Greet Customers and thank guests, always acting in a proactive and positive manner.Show interest in the Customer/Punter, maintaining eye contact during conversations.Present menus and answer questions about menu items, advising on daily specials.Communicate clearly and respectfully with Customers.Serve orders timeously and check with Customers to ensure satisfaction.Take beverage/food orders promptly and verify customer identification as necessary.Record orders accurately and enter them onto the POS system immediately.Follow up on food delays and keep Customers informed.Handle Customer/Punter complaints efficiently and log them appropriately.Collect payments accurately and thank Customers for tips.Reconcile all sales and payments to ensure accountability.Count stock and disclose any breakages or wastage to the F&B Supervisor.Ensure personal purchases are authorized and verified.Maintain cleanliness of the service area for the next shift.Adhere to internal procedures and perform any ad hoc duties as required.Skills and competencies: Good communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent Customer service skillsHigh level of integrity, trustworthiness, and reliabilityStrong attention to detail while maintaining efficiencyStrong sense of accountabilityPlease note that only team members who meet the stipulated minimum requirements will be considered.
