The Twelve Apostles Hotel (Camps Bay, Cape Town)
Job Summary: We are looking for acharismatic guest orientated Barista with great attention to detail, toprepare hot drinks organise coffee bar services in accordance with RCH standards.
Organisational Positioning: · Location: The Twelve Apostles Hotel Premises
Minimum Experience or Qualification: · Must have atleast 2 years barrister experience in an upmarket coffee shop, bar orrestaurant
· Exposure toa Point of Sales System (Micros - advantageous)
· Good commandof the English Language with solid knowledge of hospitality vocabulary
· Able to work flexible hours, weekends andholidays
Key Performance Objectives: · To prepare hotbeverages in accordance with recipes and RCH timeframes whilst ensuring minimalwastage
· To maximise revenue generating opportunities,whilst enhancing the guest service experience, through upselling, in accordancewith outlet service journey
· Ensuring that mise en place is done inaccordance with outlet standard
· Service guests in accordance with outletservice journey and company service culture
· Handle operating equipment in accordance withcompany standards ensuring minimal breakages
· Ensure that all revenue is accounted for bypracticing the "swipe before you serve" principle for all transactions
