Our client, a nationally renowned Bargaining Council in the Automotive industry is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual as Labour Relations Intern to be based in their Cape Town Offices, Western Cape, South Africa.PLEASE NOTE: A benchmarked Salary of R16000.00 - R16442.69 per month is on offer.KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:At minimum a Grade 12 certificate and/or equivalent academic qualification.A related Labour relations qualification is ESSENTIAL At least 2 years solid sales experience is ESSENTIAL In depth motor industry environment will prove advantageous.At least 2 years solid experience with Labour Relations is ESSENTIALAt least 1 year experience of the Bargaining Council Agreements.Above average verbal and written communication and listening skillsAbility to build strong effective relationships with all stakeholders, i.e. existing clients and potential clients as well as internal stakeholders, i.e. colleagues and managementMust have good decision making and problem-solving skillsMust have good analytical skills with attention to detailStrong persuasion skills.Report writing skills.Good administration skillsGood organizational and planning skills Qualifications The ability to communicate in English is essential and ability to handle own correspondence.In possession of a current valid drivers license and have 2 years driving experience.Successful completion of the Agents Examination, Parts I & II will be an advantageComputer literacy (Word & Excel) ESSENTIALTechnical experience/knowledge in motor engineering and/or motor vehicle repairs advantageousKEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Routinely conducts inspections by visiting establishments to ensure that the collective agreement is maintained by the establishments in the assigned zones / areas. Identifies, advises and assists in correcting contraventions to the collective agreement.Improve communication regarding aspects of the collective agreement to all the establishments to promote healthy industrial relations within assigned zones / areas.Ensure that the members general awareness of the collective agreements is increased within assigned establishments / areas.Enforcement of the collective agreement by way of prescribed legal processes.Manages and schedules appointments with establishments in the assigned zones / areas.Promotes the benefits and functions of the Company to members and during inspectionsAPPLY NOW!NOTE WELL:WILLINGNESS TO RELOCATE NATIONALLY IS ESSENTIAL.AN APPOITMENT ALIGNED WITH OUR CLIENTS EE PLAN WILL BE MADE.
