Line Manager: Store Manager
Job DutiesEnsure adherence to policies and procedures as per the admin policy:Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly admin checks, as per the admin check guideline and checklists.Perform daily tasks, e.g., declarations, prepare cash for banking and collection.Log calls to rectify issues (stock, maintenance, cash, etc.).Transfer information contained in instruction letters (RIL, MIL, PCI, SMIL, and Memo) and ensure adherence to instructions and deadlines.Cash control:Adequate POS training and support is given to staff.Cash control and banking processes are followed daily.Investigate, follow up on, and clear cash variances.Capture manual transactions timeously once the store is back online.Stock Control:Adequate stock management training and support is given to staff.Stock management processes are followed daily.Investigate, follow up on, and clear stock variances.Prepare for and conduct weekly and quarterly stock counts accurately.Complete shoe pairing exercises weekly.Control write-offs adequately.Care taking of the Store in absence of the Store Manager:Open and trade the store as per requirement.Maintain customer relations.Ensure adequate staffing and planning is in place.Follow instructions and to-do lists.Implement disciplinary actions where necessary.Maintain HR relations.Customer Service:Develop a service ethic culture within the store environment.Build internal and external customer relationships.Provide in-store coaching and ongoing training of skills.Role model customer centricity and service excellence.Minimum Requirements:Complete Matric/Grade 12 qualification.Tertiary Retail Qualification will be an advantage.Minimum 4 years' retail experience (Fashion and Footwear preferred).1 year administration management experience.Additional Requirements:Excellent numerical ability.Stock and cash management.Retail admin disciplines.Meeting deadlines.Building relationships.Detail-oriented.Team player.Join The Spitz Group and enhance the customer experience with our premium brands!
