Vendor Compliance SupervisorWe are seeking a strong Supervisor that will provide leadership to a distribution team.Shift: 5:30AM until finished, Monday-FridayCompensation: $52,000Location: New Orleans, LASomeone with a detail-oriented mindset and a strong sense of urgency who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations and will have open communications on a daily basis with other senior leaders, plus will be working with a collaborative team of professionals.Overview: This role will manage the Vendor Compliance Program for one of the Sysco Distribution Centers. The primary goal is to ensure the overall accuracy and efficiency of product moves through the distribution center, working across departments to address inventory management and discrepancies.Essential Functions:Own, lead, and manage the daily operations of the department.Manage and oversee employees and all compliance-related functions of the Distribution Center.Coordinate the daily processing of compliance reporting.Monitor and manage payroll of staff.Maintain accountability for departmental goals.Supervise daily activities, allocate work, monitor productivity, and secure resources to facilitate staff performance.Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring all proper safety procedures are enforced.Ensure employees are trained on departmental job procedures and identify additional training needs.Partner with Sysco team to understand current compliance activities and develop plans to transfer duties to Capstone team.Handle employee relations such as coaching, counseling, and training direct reports.Maintain equipment and housekeeping standards - 5S.The ideal individual is a hands-on person of action who is detail-oriented and timeline-driven. A positive attitude is essential. Candidates who are flexible, organized, and have an inherent interest in problem-solving will be successful. This requires regular, active involvement on the warehouse floor; this is not a sit-down desk job position, especially during peak periods.Vendor Compliance:Identify compliance issues and accurately correct them in a timely manner.Document fines thoroughly to provide solid proof in the event of a dispute.Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:3 years in Inventory ControlExperience working in a fast-paced large warehouse environmentPrior experience with vendor compliance program is a plusSupervisory experience is requiredBilingual in Spanish is a plusExperience operating equipment, such as electric pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.Experience conducting quality control checksStrong communication skillsProficient in all Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentProfessional, calm, and cooperative attitudeWarehouse Management System experienceStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work any shiftAbility to prioritize work based on delivery scheduleMust be detail-oriented and organizedCapstone Logistics, LLC is part of The Transportation and Logistics industry, designated a "Critical Infrastructure Segment".
