Audit Manager

At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.Those in audit risk and quality at PwC will focus on providing support to internal teams to mitigate and control client engagement risks. You are an experienced auditor and/or technical specialist who leads on audit quality through thought leadership, setting guidance, and a continuous cycle of improving, learning and monitoring.Qualification:CA(SA)Experience required2 or more years post articlesMust have a thorough understanding and working experience in auditing, reviews and accounting (IFRS and IFRS for SMEs)Responsibilities:Manage portfolio of clientsManage and review work of staffRelationship building with clients and staffPlanning of work and staff allocationsCoaching and training of staffPerformance appraisals of staffMonitor cost and drive efficienciesCompliance with PwC audit methodology and ensure qualityProposals for new workComply with and drive risk managementCompliance with audit methodologyReport writingInvoice clients for work doneCollection of outstanding debtorsOther administrative functionsAdditional information:Fluent in English and AfrikaansSound knowledge of AURA, MS Word and ExcelMust have excellent technical knowledge and experience in Auditing, Reviews, Accounting (IFRS and IFRS for SME)Must be able to work overtime when necessaryValid driver's license and own transportation.
