As a member of our team, the primary focus of your role will be to perform outbound calls for confirmation of cover and other questions that may arise after the online capture of new electronic or paper proposal applications on our system. You'll have to keep your finger on the pulse of our internal service level agreement to make sure that we achieve the agreed targets and turn around times. You'll work closely with our underwriting teams and you may also be involved with the quality assurance of all captured information your colleagues have captured and where necessary, escalating any issues appropriately.
Who'll you report to:
You'll be based at our client operations division at our Port Elizabeth office. You'll report to our team leader: Tele-underwriting who is accountable for all our captured proposal applications and tele underwriting functions.
Your qualifications:
You must have passed grade 12/matric with Maths literacy or NFS achievement level 3.
Your experience:
• You must have exceptional telephone skills
• Knowledge or experience in health-related terminology is preferable
• Previous call centre or customer service experience is preferable
