Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce / Studying towards B.Com

Experience: 2-5 Years previous experience in the Industry

Responsibilities: Management of a Portfolio of clients Acting as Operational client contact on a Portfolio of clients Preparation of Tax Assignments – Reporting to Managers/Partners Completion of Tax Returns – Companies, Individuals & Trusts Preparing Technical objections in respect of incorrect Assessments Correspondence to SARS regarding Tax related issues/queries Correspondence with clients regarding Tax related issues/queries Assisting with Provisional Tax calculations – Companies, Individuals & Trusts Preparation of registrations for Companies for VAT, PAYE, SDL & UIF Preparation & computation of Capital gains transactions Applications for Tax Clearance Certificates Preparation for Tax Directives Compliance with the firms risk Management Procedures Completion of IT14SD Management of billing Skills & Competencies: Commercial Awareness & Business Acumen Strong Research skills Good writing & Drafting skills Analytical skills Good communication & interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise & work under pressure Organisation & time management
