Job ResponsibilitiesTo ensure continuity, growth and profitability of the Store through the management of costs and the maximization of sales turnover and returns. Identifies new business opportunities, takes calculated risks, and generates innovative and creative ideas for implementing new business opportunities and maximizing sales.Ensuring that stock is managed in accordance with established company policies & procedures.Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-merchandised retail area.Maintaining all pricing on product, shelf, and bulk displays in accordance with company policies and procedures.Assists with calculating and saving the expected contents of the till and resetting it ready for the next day of operation.Inspire, motivate, guide, develop, and manage employees in order to meet the store's objectives. Apply all company policies and procedures and best practice principles in order to maintain a harmonious labor environment.Monitoring and enhancing the performance of sales staff.Ensure that customer complaints are dealt with in an effective manner and resolved. Promotions, advertising, and all public relations must be coordinated for the store in order to enhance the Brand's market share in line with all company procedures.Minimum RequirementsGrade 12Higher Certificate / Diploma4 years relevant experience in a retail environment, 2 of which must have been in a supervisory/management position.Intermediate computer skills.
