Assistant Internal Auditor - Tzaneen

Westfalia Fruit (PTY) LTD Shared Services Africa has a permanent vacancy for a suitable qualified and experienced Assistant Internal Auditor , based in Tzaneen . Reporting to Head of Internal Audit & Risk, the successful incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing internal control procedures and audit programs designed to protect company assets and resources. They will prepare audit working papers, report on findings, and recommend changes to procedures and practices where appropriate. Responsibilities include ensuring the safeguarding of assets, compliance with policies and procedures, and the accomplishment of goals and standards. All assignments will be performed under the appropriate supervision of a qualified team member or co-sourced service provider. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field Compliance audit experience in agricultural sector is desirable Exposure to risk management practices and internal controls is beneficial Knowledge: Knowledge of internal auditing methodologies Knowledge of internal auditing methodologies Understanding of code of ethics of Internal Auditors Knowledge of governance codes Skills: Able to work under pressure Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information and identify risks Proficiency in auditing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to excellence & quality High level of commitment to accuracy and quality High level of integrity Interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with all stakeholder The Company offers a Total Guaranteed Remuneration Package which comprises provident fund, insured benefits, medical aid and an option to structure an annual bonus 9 people have applied for this job. 142 people have viewed this job.
