Your Safari Mission:
Assist the Head Guide in creating memorable safari experiences that will leave guests in awe! This includes everything from thrilling game drives and engaging bush walks to fascinating eco-lectures and well-deserved sundowners in the wild.
Step up as the face of the safari team when the Head Guide is off duty. Take the reins on safari operations, guest hosting, and all equipment and vehicle management, while ensuring every adventure is unforgettable!
Be a registered guardian of the lodge's firearms, ensuring safety and excellence in weapon handling for the team. Take charge of licences and proficiency, ensuring safety standards are always at their peak.
Social media savvy? Great! Help showcase the wilderness to the online world with captivating stories and updates that spread the magic far and wide.
Lead with heart and skill! Mentor and inspire trainee field guides, encouraging them to reach their full potential and embrace the compnay culture.
What You'll Bring to the Wild Side:
FGASA Level 2 and Full Trails Guide Certification ARH & Rifle Proficiency, First Aid Level 2, Driver's Licence, and Pr-DP Previous experience as a Senior Guide or Assistant Head Guide Budgeting and departmental administration skills – because the wild still needs organisation! Brilliant communication, leadership qualities, and a guest-centric attitude Flexibility, commitment, a dash of creativity, and calm under pressure
