Assistant F&B Manager

Busy full-service 4* hotel is seeking to recruit a Food & Beverage Manager who is an inspiring, empowering and results-orientated leader with a passion for service excellence. Reporting to the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and organizing the Food and Beverage team in all aspects of the restaurant, bar, and function/conference rooms. You will ensure guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining standards and meeting or exceeding financial goals.
Requirements:
SA Citizen
Matric/Grade 12 qualification
Relevant tertiary qualification with at least 3 years experience in a similar role in a busy, high-demand environment.
Strong leadership experience
Strong F&B and Restaurant operational background with experience (budgeting & expense control, workforce planning & rostering, trainee coordination & management, stock monitoring, IR, recruitment & selection, supplier management, daily administration, hygiene & pest control, restaurant management, etc) at senior level
Enjoy interacting with Guests and ensuring Guests' experience is beyond expectation
Experience working on MICROS
Great food and wine knowledge
Mature approach
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work shifts which will also include closing at night
Must have own, reliable transport
