Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Relevant 3-year diploma or equivalent NQF6 qualification in SCM, Public Management or any other finance related qualification5+ years experience in the field of SCM / Finance / Auditing, in the public sector with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleCompletion of SAICA or equivalent institution articlesWilling to work overtime when requiredMust be available with one months noticeBe able to attend face to face interview in PretoriaClear criminal record and contactable referencesThe successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Monitor the progress of the organization bidding and adjudication processes in line with relevant policies and relevant prescripts, in conjunction with Project Managers and End UsersAssist in developing, implementing and monitoring SCM policies, procedures and systemsReview tender proposals and ensure full compliance with requirements and evaluation criteria as set out in a bid documentAssist the Office of the CFO to monitor the implementation of the approved Annual Procurement planFacilitate and advice various business units within the organization in developing Terms of Reference and / Specifications for sourcingAct as a Secretariat for the organizations various bid committees, namely Bid Specifications Committee, Bid Evaluation Committee and Bid Adjudication CommitteeManage and administer the contract register UsersCompilation of reconciliationsReporting on SCM and procurement activitiesEngage with Auditors (External and Internal) and provide relevant required documents as per agreed timelinesOversee and manage SCM staff Salary: R444 036.00 R531 602.00 per annum + benefits To apply email detailed CV and all supporting documentation through to
